Accomplishments
A important accomplishment for Elizabeth was becoming queen of England! After Edward (her half brother) was born, she was declared a bastard by her father, Henry the VIII. It was also major for Elizabeth not being killed at the Tower of London, when Mary the I sent her there after she was accused of being a part of a rebellion to stop Mary I. It was a good accomplishment, to learn the languages, Latin, Greek, French, Welsh, and Spanish. She also sent out many famous explorers. For example, Sir Francis Drake, Sir Walter Raleigh, Sir John Hawkins, and Sir Richard Greenvile. A major accomplishment was the defeat of the Spanish Armada of 132, when she sent out Sir Francis Drake, Sir John Hawkins. She survived various plots and conspiracies, such as the Babbington plot, involving Mary, Queen of Scots. She gave freedom of religon, after Mary I was burning Protestants at stake. She established the Church of England. Queen Elizabeth I lead England as a women, in a man's world, and she did it with Courage, intelligence, and loyalty to her friends.
