Queen Elizabeth the I of England was born into a royal family in 1533. She was best known for her bravery as a virgin queen, and for sending Sir Francis Drake on expeditions in the New World.
Queen Elizabeth the I of England was born on September 7,1533 at Greenwhich Palace. She was the second child of King Henry VIII and the first to Anne Boylen. Elizabeth had two half-sibling, Queen Mary the I of England, whose mother was Catherine of Aragon, and Prince Edward I whose mother was Jane Seymour.
Elizabeth childhood started at a bad start, because sadly her mother, Anne Boylen was executed when Henry VIII accused her of adultery. Eleven days later, Henry the VIII married Jane Seymour, who later had Prince Edward in 1537, died shorty after. After her death, Elizabeth's father became so obsessed with Edward, leading him to pull both Mary and Elizabeth out of the line to receive the throne.
Elizabeth's education began in 1537. Catherine Champernowe, her tutor, taught how to read and write in English, Latin, Italian, French and Greek, when she was only four.
Later on the king married Anne of Cleves, who was Anne Boylen's cousin. Soon after, their marriage was anulled or ended in a divorce. While Henry struggled to find a perfect wife, Elizabeth and Mary drew together sharing the same interest in riding and hunting with their Italian Greyhound. In 1543, the 49-year-old king married 19-year-old Catherine Howard. Catherine also helped draw the Tudor family together again, which led the king to return Mary and Elizabeth to the line of the throne, though the Act of Succession 1544, placing them after Edward. Later after, Catherine was beheaded for being accused of betraying the king. Soon later, he married Catherine Parr. Sadly, King Henry died in 1547, and later Prince Edward became King Edward the I of England at the age of nine. Aged 15, Edward died on July 6,1553 of a lung infection.

Before Edward's passing, he exclued both Mary, and Elizabeth from the line of succession, and declared Lady Jane Grey queen! Happily, Elizabeth supported Mary's side for her to become queen. Not long after, Mary was declared queen on July 19,1553. Since Mary believed in Roman Catholic she burnt any who were Protestant at stake, and unfortunately Elizabeth was Protestant, which led her to be imprisoned at the Tower of London. Later that year, Mary married King Phillip the II of Spain. On April 17,1555,Elizabeth was recalled to court to attend the final stage of Mary's soon to be child but if Mary had a healthy child she would be unlikely to be queen. Luckly it was clear she wasn't going to have a child. On November 17 ,1558 Mary died and soon after Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth I of England. Immediately, Elizabeth made Protestant's be free of belief. She later made the new Act of Supremacy a law on May 8th, 1559. Elizabeth never married in life, because her husband would recieve all the power. Due to this she was known as "The Virgin Queen".
During this time, Elizabeth worried that Scotland planned to invade England and replace her with Queen Mary, of Scots, as queen. Later she sent a force to France, to figure out what was going on and to ask if they would help, but they refused. These events led, Queen Mary of Scots to be prisoned. She later fled to England after escaping. During this time, Catholic's wanted Mary to become queen, because she believed in the Catholic faith. After that she was imprisoned and she later escaped. She was later caught and executed, and Elizabeth finally had her off her back.

As Elizabeth aged, Ireland and Spain were still having major conflicts. To maintain peace, Elizabeth relied on spies so there would be peace., because she believed that all countries should be friends. She later gave her most famous speech "The Golden Speech" in November 30, 1601.
Sadly Elizabeth died, on March 24, 1603 at Richmond Palace, Surrey, England of blood posining at the age of 69. We all know she died happily, because she knew there was peace on Earth. The throne later went James I Stuart, because he was Protestant. She later was buried with her half sister Mary at Wesminaster Abbey.
